The Internet is a communication system that connects computers and computer networks all over the world. The Internet is a global network of computers and devices.

The Internet is the largest and most well-known computer network in the world. 

It is technically a "network of networks" since it consists of thousands of networks that can all access each other via the main backbone infrastructure of the Internet.
